Noha makes every piece herself — crocheted slowly, in small batches, from her studio in Cairo. Some are one of a kind. Some take weeks.

Noha spent years looking after her family. Then she sat down with a hook and didn't really stop.
She trained as an accountant, raised her kids, and came back to crochet because it was the thing she actually wanted to do. She taught herself the harder techniques from books and long nights of practice.
Now she runs Ghazl from her studio in Cairo. Everything on this site — bags, home pieces, gifts — is made by her, by hand. If you message with a question, she is the one answering.
